Orpington Home Transformed By DIY SOS

A nurse who has spent the past year caring for her husband after a life changing accident has had her Orpington home transformed by BBC show DIY SOS.

Effie Sulong, a coronary care nurse at Princess Royal University Hospital, in Farnborough, has looked after her husband Jason since he suffered a brain haemorrhage in the Philippines.

Her friends wrote to the television show to share her story of courage and love not only for her family, but for her patients and colleagues too.
