My new BBC deal

Well I suppose the biggest news for me this year has been re-signing with the BBC – very pleased with the projects lined up and the overall package that will leave me time for some really creative stuff and writing too.

On a personal note thank you again to all the amazing people in my life who are understanding with my ridiculous schedule. My brother John who remains my hero, My sisters Angela, Sheila and Karen. Damian Zach Daniel and Daniel, Nathan, Beccy, Rach and Charlotte, Sally Anne and all other nephews and nieces. Special thanks to Guy, Sam, St John the wonderful Rhodders and all my friends. And Mum 'left turn Clyde' who I love heaps.

The toughest decision this year was to split from my agent Kate. We went through a lot together and I will always have fond memories – I wish her and the company all the best for the future.
