This new series takes a couple who are desperate to get married but have neither the time or the £18,000 that the average wedding costs in the U.K. and pulls together friends and family to make the perfect day. Taking along designer Hannah Sandling and wedding organiser James Love - Nick removes the happy but nervous couple from the equation and calls in the friends and in-laws from both sides to create the perfect day in just one week.
Nick's encouraging and reassuring hand guides the family and friends through to the Saturday morning when the bride sees her dress for the first time an hour before the ceremony. The transport, flowers, location for reception, cake and food are all a surprise on the day. Have the family and friends pulled off the Big Day?
